What is the development timeline?
We’re taking a phased and deliberate approach to bring Bower Woods to life:
- 2026 – Commercial Development Begins
A small-scale, thoughtfully integrated commercial area is planned to serve residents and enhance daily convenience. This commercial sector is in the far southeast of the neighbourhood off 40th Avenue north of 27th Street.
2027 – Residential Construction Starts
Home construction is expected to begin in 2027, starting from the southeast corner and progressing northwest through the community. The initial phases will include townhomes. We anticipate that creek backing estate lots will be available starting in 2029.
Note: This development timeline is contingent on the final Area Structure Plan (ASP) approval and is subject to change.
Which builders will be part of the community?
We haven’t selected the builder group yet but rest assured, Bower Woods will feature homes from only the region’s most trusted, reputable builders. We’re committed to quality craftsmanship and enduring value.
How will nature be protected during development?
Preserving the beauty and biodiversity of the land is a core value of Bower Woods. Our community design:

- Integrates seamlessly with Red Deer’s trail and park system
